Tibetan proverbs



These are some Tibetan proverbs which I collected and they are translated to English.I think they are very straightforward and easy to follow their meanings.
  
      ⇒"If you do not quarrel you are safe--if you have no debts you will be rich."
  ⇒When the man is gone--the woman has no leader--when the rooster is dead the donkey has to bray.

⇒In birth and death there is no fear, and in fear there is no doubt.
⇒As you desire the sun, so you desire your friend's return.
⇒During the dark of the moon the robber can steal the yak's calf.
⇛Either going up or down a ladder it is an evil thing if you are pushed.
⇛A child without education, is like a bird without wings.
⇒A father deserted by a wise son is like being caught in a shower without a felt
 ⇒A hundred male and a hundred female qualities make a perfect      human being
A lie is like a jump from a high roof.

My reflection:
I think some of these proverbs are close in meaning to some proverbs in our culture. The proverb" if you are without kindness, you will meet no kindness in return" we have it also in our culture.Also, the proverb"In birth and death there is no fear, and in fear there is no doubt" exists in our culture and has the same meaning.
